The case in good, stable condition. Having a fairly even, dark finish throughout. Small area of loss to veneer on front proper right corner. The lid with some crazing to finish, does not impact overall aesthetic unless viewed closely. The serial numbers consistent throughout. Pencil inscription on front of plate indicates most recent work was performed in 2000. Keys are ivory with several small chips and flakes to ends. One key with a larger crack, likely reattached. The hammers with grooving to felts consistent with regular playing. The soundboard with a few scattered tight age splits and one larger "open" age split running diagonally through most of soundboard.
